In collaboration with Museum and Society (University of Leicester), we published an open-access special issue themed around the properties of things.

The issue is divided into two parts – the first containing 4 brief object biographies in the spirit of the multi-layered ‘on the properties of things’ conference theme.

The second section will contain 6 journal articles examining aspects of museum architecture, the life of waxwork figures, curiosity, the absolute truths of dinosaurs, and more. This cluster of written material has formed around a core theme at our event: the interface of art and science in the museum.
